I am Binna Kim, a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, installation, and organic form. Rooted in years of floral design and expanded through fine art practice, my work explores how observation transforms through time, perception, and intervention.

My ongoing Integration series begins with constructed environments of living flowers, painted surfaces, and sculptural elements. As these environments bloom, decay, and change, I observe them through painting and drawing, then move beyond observation—fragmenting, reorganizing, and interpreting their forms.

​

Rather than treating each painting, drawing, or installation as an isolated object, I see them as interconnected states within an evolving process. Across the work, I explore tensions between bloom and decay, control and entropy, resistance and surrender, and observation and interpretation.

What begins as something familiar does not remain fixed.
